TURKSOY Opera days took place at Bellapais MonasteryThe 22nd TÜRKSOY Opera Days event which is organised jointly by the Ministry of National Education and Culture, the Turkish Ministry of Culture and Tourism, and the International Organization of Turkic Culture (TÜRKSOY) since 1994 was held at the Bellapais Monastery on Wednesday evening.

The 22nd TÜRKSOY Opera Days event which is organised jointly by the Ministry of National Education and Culture, the Turkish Ministry of Culture and Tourism, and the International Organization of Turkic Culture (TÜRKSOY) since 1994 was held at the Bellapais Monastery on Wednesday evening.

Speaking at the event, the General Secretary of TÜRKSOY Dusen Kaseinov said that TÜRKSOY had been organizing large scale cultural and art events with the aim of bringing to life feelings of brotherhood, unity and solidarity among the people of the Turkic World.

Also speaking at the event, the Minister of National Education and Culture Nazım Çavuşoğlu expressed his happiness for hosting the event in the TRNC once again.

He said his ministry and the government will continue to support such important cultural organizations.

Prime Minister Ersin Tatar who also addressed the event noted that such events brought together important opera artists from Turkish speaking nations with music lovers.

He expressed happiness over hosting such an important organization in the country.

The 22nd TÜRKSOY Opera Days will come to an end with a concert to be held in Istanbul on the 28th of September.
