The Minister of Energy and Economy Hasan Taçoy said that it is not possible to ignore the rights of Turkish Cypriots on hydrocarbon resources over the island in his speech delivered at 10th Energy Summit Antalya, Turkey.

“We will keep fighting for the rights of Turkish Cypriots and Turkey all the way” Tacoy said.

Related with the threats of international arrest warrant that became the main topic after the NAVTEX issued by Greek Cypriot Administration on last Friday, Tacoy stated that Turkey will not bow down such threats and added that the rights of Turkish Cypriots and Turkey on natural sources of Cyprus cannot be forgotten.

In the meantime, Tacoy mentioned that UBP-HP coalition attached great importance to bring electricity from Turket to TRNC via cable and also added that interconnectivity project needed to be launched by the beginning of January 2020.
