Two Greek Cypriots Kostakis Anastasiou and Lenia Koumi who were arrested by police earlier for the charges of shoplifting remanded in custody for one more day.

According to police report, Anastasiou and Koumi were arrested after the attempt of shoplifting from a shop in Mağusa in September.

In relation with the charge of shoplifting, the two suspects came into presence of Mağusa District Court yesterday. The suspects remanded in custody for a further one more day due to the police investigation about the suspects in relation with another shoplifting case happened at Gazimağusa in September.
