40 Million TL reserved for the road maintenance projects Minister of Finance says

Minister of Finance Olgun Amcaoglu declared that the fund total amount of 40 Million TL have been created for the several projects concerning the maintenance, safety, construction and developments of roads.

Minister of Finance Olgun Amcaoglu declared that the total amount of 40 Million TL has been allocatedfor the several projects concerning the maintenance, safety, construction and developments of roads.

In a public announcement published on Tuesday, Amcaoglu said that Ministery of Finance had around 18 Million TL worth of expenditures in 2019 for local road maintenance projects and added that after the required actions completed, his ministry will transfer 12 Million TL more to the project on Lapta-Alsancak-Girne Highway for maintenance and developments.

Providing information about the expenditures on road maintenance projects in previous years, Amcaoglu reminded that the total expenditures in 2015 and 2016 were around 13 Million TL together with the funds originated from Turkey, 21.5 Million in 2017 and only 6.6 Million in 2018.

Even in the hardest conditions, we will continue to fulfil our responsibilities by pushing the limits of resources he said.
