In relation of crashed plane on Tuesday in Geçitkale, Minister of Transportation and Social Works Tolga Atakan said that the crashed plane had an ability to glide in the face of technical problems on plane engines and pilots were experienced.

Reminding that the weather conditions were relatively well on Tuesday, Minister Atakan expressed that the reason of the crash has not been identified and emphasized that the technical statement will be delivered after the investigations of special experts from Turkey.

“This was a terrible incident. Feeling so sorry for our lost. The technical explanations about the reason of the crash will be delivered after the investigations of the experts who will arrive the island in next hours. We could not identify any environmental factors that would affect the pilots. No one expects a technical problem in this kind of planes after the maintenance. The ultralight planes have the ability to glide” Minister Atakan said about the crash.
