A ceremony to bid a farewell to Turkish Cypriot pilot Serkan Ozcezarli who lost his life in the training plane crash held on Thursday at Geçitkale Airport.

Along with the family and his friends, Prime Minister Ersin Tatar together with his representatives also participated the ceremony.

In a short statement delivered at the ceremony, PM Tatar said that Pilot Ozcezarli has been one of most prominent pioneers in the air sports since the establishment of TRNC and offered his condolences to his family and friends.

The mortal remains of Serkan Ozcezarli put into eternal rest in the cemetary of his home village Cihangir.
