What the papers say Nov 6

In the front page of Kibris newspaper on Wednesday, the readers came across with a headline “Unconvincing Inflation Rate”. Paper focused on the inflation rate announced by the official institution for October that indicated even lower monthly rate than Turkey’s inflation. The news report drew attention of the rumors that the calculations of the inflation rate were not reflecting the realities.

In the front page of Kibris newspaper on Wednesday, the readers came across with a headline “Unconvincing Inflation Rate”. Paper focused on the inflation rate announced by the official institution for October that indicated even lower monthly rate than Turkey’s inflation. The news report drew attention of the rumors that the calculations of the inflation rate were not reflecting the realities.

The search of Greek Cypriot Andri Constandinou for his Turkish Cypriot brother carried out to the headline in Yeniduzen newspaper. The news report provided information about the story of Mrs. Constandinou that after she learned his father had a son from a Turkish Cypriot woman, her search for his brother still continues. 

In Havadis newspaper front page, the headline “LNG Connection in Electricity” pointed out the recent proceedings in the project to bring electricity from Turkey. Paper informed their readers that after the meetings  conducted amongst the officials, the alternative of Liquefed Natural Gas (LNG) connection considered as the best option for cheaper electricity consumption in N. Cyprus.

Republican Turkish Party (CTP) MP Dogus Derya’s statements delivered on the parliament session on Media Support Project carried out to the headline of Kibris Postasi on Wednesday. The remarks of CTP MP Derya that largely represented by other Turkish Cypriot newspapers on Wednesday has served with the title “Should Media Institutions lie back to the casinos in order to survive” in Kibris Postasi.
