The Chairman of Electricity Board Union Kubilay Ozkirac argued that private Electricity Company AKSA’s pending unpaid debt has been deleted by the joint decision of Council of Ministers in October.

In his remarks published from his social media account, Chairman Ozkirac claimed that the rent of giant jenerator of AKSA that remained in states’ warehouse deleted by the joint decision of Council of Ministers on October 30.

In relation with the issue that have been highlighted by Turkish Cypriot press earlier, the jenerator of private Turkish energy company that brought to the island around 3 years ago remained in official warehouse of the state due to the unpaid required tax.

After the company transferred the jenerator out of Cyprus without paying the rent of warehouse that summed around 10 Million TL, the issue has been subjected several criticisms in Turkish Cypriot press several times earlier.

In the conflicted problem on unpaid rent and tax of the jenerator, the claim of Chairman Ozkirac that the debt of the company deleted by the decision of Council of Ministers expected to increase the level of discussion on the issue in next days.
