Minister of Economy and Energy Hasan Tacoy said “Vision 2035” project aimed to design a better future in his statement delivered at the Agri-culture themed meetings of Vision 2035 project on Friday.

Pointing out to the large scale capacity on agri-culture in Cyprus, Minister Tacoy stressed that with a consistent support the agri-culture sector will become one of the most developed sector in N. Cyprus.

Highlighting that the Master Plan on Agri-culture has prepared 12 years ago, Minister of Economy Tacoy emphasized the need of updated Master Plan that will be take into consideration the new sources and technologies in N. Cyprus. Tacoy said that the new water sources in N. Cyprus has changed the earlier poor conditions in agri-culture sector.

“The new water sources in N. Cyprus has changed the conditions of agri-cultural activities. The strategical planning in agri-cultural activities should consider new water sources and the new investment areas also design within this new strategies” Minister Tacoy stated.
