Temperatures are set to drop by 12˚as of Friday, with rain and thunderstorms expected on Saturday, Sunday and Monday.
Skies are expected to be cloudy next week.
The extreme temperature warning for today remains as the maximum temperature inland is expected to reach 42C.
It will be a littler cooler on the coasts with 36C.
The service warned that the heat could affect vulnerable groups of the population like children and the elderly.
