Sources reject reports on tripartite meeting in Paris

Well informed sources close to Turkish Cypriot Presidency reject the claim of some Greek Cypriot newspapers that the possible tripartite meeting will take place on Paris at the beginning of November.

Sources close to Turkish Cypriot Presidency reject the claim of some Greek Cypriot newspapers that the possible tripartite meeting will take place on Paris at the beginning of November.

According to report published by Ulaş Barış in Kibris Postasi, the possibility of the Greek Cypriot newspapers’ claim left completely improbable by the sources whereas they expressed that the potential meeting may take place in New York or Geneva where UN have headquarters.    

In addition, the sources also underlined that the due time is still not determined about the possible tripartite meeting and the decision of UNSG Guterres has been expected on the issue.
