Only tripartite meeting in the registered agenda of UN Greek Cypriot press claims
Greek Cypriot press claimed that the only registered agenda of United Nations on Cyprus problem was the due tripartite meeting that will be held on November 25 in Berlin. In the news report of Greek Cypriot press on the issue, it was also argued that Special Envoy Jane Holl Lute was expected to visit Ankara on November 14 and after her scheduled visits in Turkish capital she will meet with the leaders for further discussions in Cyprus.
In the news report published in Greek language Fileleftheros on Wednesday, the paper argued that despite the fact that UN Special Envoy Lutes visits in Ankara have not been confirmed yet, the experts were expecting UN Special Envoy to actualize several visits in Turkey on November 14.
Highlighting that the earlier contacts of UN Special Envoy Lute in Turkey has been announced by Turkish Foreign Minister Mevlut Cavusoglu, Greek Cypriot newspaper informed their readers that it was expected that Turkish FM Cavusoglu could announce the meetings in couple of days.
Emphasizing the expected visit of UN Special Envoy Lute in Turkish officials proves that Special Envoy conducting meetings with guarantor countries on Cyprus problem, paper also claimed that Greek Cypriot Administration will be informed about the details of expected contacts.The news report of Fileleftheros also added that the tripartite meeting which will be held on November 25 in Berlin aimed to reach an agreement on terms of reference and according to expected UN procedure, the quintuplet meeting with the participation of guarantor countries could take place in December 20.
