Greek Cypriot official complains about Turkey's activities to UN Secretary General

Greek Cypriot Permanent Representative to the UN and negitoator Andreas Mavroyiannis send a letter of protest to UN Secretary General Antonio Guterres in relation with Turkey’s drill and military activities around the island.

Greek Cypriot Permanent Representative to the UN and negitoator Andreas Mavroyiannis send a letter of protest to UN Secretary General Antonio Guterres in relation with Turkey’s drill and military activities around the island.

Requesting from UN Secretary General to call upon the government of Turkey to comply with international law as well as respect the rights of Greek Cypriot Administration, Mr. Mavroyiannis claimed that Turkey's military threats in East Med and having additional military vehicles in North Cyprus were violating the rights of Greek Cypriot Administration.

In an official letter dated November 13, Greek Cypriot UN Representative Mavroyiannis also issued a complaint to UN Secretary General about the conflictual situation on the Flight Information Region (FIR).  In his official complaint, Mr. Mavroyiannis claimed that Turkey were violating the aviation rights of Greek Cypriot Administration.
