Turkish President Tayyip Erdogan criticised International media for providing misinformation about the Turkish offensive in Northern Syria on Monday.

In his statement made at the Ataturk Airport in stanbul before the journey for Baku, Erdogan accused foreign media to mislead truths within the perspective of old same tactics and added that Our people are seeing thruths and we are striving to tell the truths to the world through both written and visual media.

In addition, Erdogan mentioned that due to the misinformation provided by foreign media, European leaders also subjected to misinformation about the military operation of Turkey.

I spoke to German Chancellor Angela Merkel and to British PM in the past few days. Ive observed that they unfortunately do not know about the main facts related with the offensive Erdogan said.

Referring to Article 5 of the NATO, Erdogan underlined that Turkey are under the pressure and harrasment of the terror organization and asked which side should these countries take? They need to stand by us.

Providing information from the conflict zone, Erdogan also said It seems there will be no problem in Kobani (Ayn al Arab) along with Russias affirmative approach. Also, we are in the process of carrying out the operation in Manbij as planned.
