How can I paint over an antique Cast Iron frame (mirror)?
I would like to paint it red over the golden coat but the oil based paint that I bought doesn't seem to be sticking... Thanks.
Use Tremclad paint...or any other paint made for metal...tremclad sticks to anything (I have used it on many antique handles and hardware)...since you have tried to paint it, you will have to wash it down and let it dry good before painting it with the tremclad.
